Juvéderm® VOLBELLA® mainly helps to enhance and improve the lips in a number of ways:
At Saba Med Spa, Volbella filler injections are exclusively done by Dr. Shabnam who is trained in advanced techniques for exceptional results with minimum discomfort and downtime.
Ideally anyone who desires a non-surgical lip enhancement, as well as smoothing out wrinkles, is a candidate for treatment with Juvederm Volbella dermal filler.
Some patients seek and desire more natural, fuller lips while others require smoothing out wrinkles and lines around the mouth, Saba Med Spa offers the perfect solution for your Dream enhancements !
Young, healthy-looking skin contains an abundance of a naturally hydrating substance called hyaluronic acid (HA). But as you age, sunlight and other factors can reduce the amount of HA in your skin. The lack of HA causes your skin to lose structure and volume, creating unwanted facial wrinkles and folds – like those parentheses lines around your nose and mouth.
Using dermal fillers like JUVÉDERM VOLUMATM, JUVÉDERM®XC and RESTYLANE® are safe and effective ways to replace the hyaluronic acid your skin has lost, bringing back its volume and smoothing away facial wrinkles and folds.
The most common side effects occur within 24 hours or immediately post treatment. These include: swelling, bruising, redness and tenderness.
Immediate side effects usually disappear within days. However, depending on the type of dermal filler used, it can take a few weeks. All our injectors are available for follow-up consultations if you have any concerns.
Dermal fillers can last up to three to six months and in some cases longer. Lips are a high activity area as we use them all the time, this can impact how long the results will last. Please speak to your Cosmetic Injector about this.
We begin with a minimum of 2 treatments, followed by an additional 1-4. There is a 4-6 week break between each treatment.
To determine the correct dosage you need to book in for a consultation with Dr. Shabnam
Avoid vigorous physical activity or any large intakes of alcohol for 24 hours as this increases the risk of bruising. Aspirin and Vitamin E should not be taken one week before the treatment.
